We are currently seeking an experienced Manager/Senior Manager for our Whitehorse office. Key Accountabilities and ResponsibilitiesOverseeing and managing client audits, review engagements, and compilation engagements including scheduling, planning, file review, budget preparation and allocation of time chargedManaging team workload requirements and providing assistance to the Partner in reviewing and evaluating staff membersWorking closely with clients including attending client and audit meetings, preparation of management letters, tax planning and compliance, and related correspondenceWorking independently on more difficult corporate and tax matters, when necessaryDelivering financial statements and working paper files in accordance with firm standards in a timely, effective mannerDeveloping and managing a client base Education and Professional Skills/KnowledgeCPA, CA, CMA, or CGA designation5+ years experience in a public accounting firmStrong understanding of audit planning and sampling softwareAdvanced understanding of accounting policies and audit techniquesAdvanced computer skills in Caseware/Caseview, Excel, Word and Taxprep / Profile Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer programs (Excel and Word)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to prioritize workload and the flexibility to manage multiple tasks Our VisionOne Firm engaged to make a difference through valued relationships with our people, clients and communitiesLI-BDO
